Angel Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp of baking powder
5 c of flour
1 pack of yeast
1/4 c of sugar (granulated)
1 tsp of salt
2 c of buttermilk
1 c of shortening or butter
1/4 c of butter, softened
Instructions:
Combine the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt as well as the flour then mix with butter. Prepare yeast with 2 Tbsps of water (warm). Add buttermilk to the yeast. Combine well all items except the butter.
Powder board using flour then knead mixture to create a soft and non-sticky dough. Then roll dough to 1/4″, then with a cutter (for biscuit). Let dough sink on butter (melted) then arrange closely together and let them rise if desired. Bake in oven (400 degrees F) 15 mins. Yields 40 serving portions.
