Artichoke Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of cheese (Cheddar); grated
2 Tbsps of lemon-pepper
2 c of cheese (Monterey Jack); shredded
1 Tbsp of parsely
2 Tbsps of sesame seed
1 can of artichoke (14 ozs); drained & cut into four
1/4 c of cheese (Parmesan)
1 1/2 c of artificially soured cream
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 c of butter
2 loaves of bread (French)
Instructions:
Cut loaves lengthwise. Spoon a cavity in the middle such that bread will resemble a long shell. Set the scooped part of the bread aside. Saute the garlic then add the sesame-seeds in butter. Throw in the pieces of bread. Mix evenly to coat.
In another bowl, mix the sour cream, cheeses, lemon-pepper and parsley. Combine cheese batter with the bread mix, then add the artichokes. Dollop this mixture inside the space you created in the French bread shells. Bake for half and hour (350 degrees F).
