Bacon and Onion Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c of butter; melted
1 c of sour cream
2 whole eggs
1/8 tsp pepper (black)
1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp of salt
1 Tbsp of sugar
1 Tbsps of baking powder
1 pc of onion; minced
6 pcs of bacon
2 c of flour
Instructions:
Preset oven 350 deg Fahrenheit. Grease your bread pan. Fry bacons. Drain using paper towels. Cut into small pieces. Using the same pan, saute onions until clear. Remove from heat. In another bowl, combine flour, pepper, (baking) powder, salt and sugar.
Whisk the eggs and combine the butter and sour cream. Blend the bacons and onions in. Pour the butter mixture into the flour mixture. Mix thoroughly. Pour batter inside the bread pan then bake to an hour or ’till a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
