Banana Nut Cinnamon Swirl Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Bread:
2 pc of eggs
2 Tbsps of milk
1 pc of banana (ripe, large); sliced to 1-inch bits
1-1/2 Tbsps of butter
1-1/2 Tbsps of sugar (granulated)
1-1/2 tsps of salt
3 c of flour (bread)
2-1/4 tsps of yeast (bread machine)
For the Filling:
1-1/2 Tbsps of butter; softened
3 Tbsps of sugar (brown)
3/4 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
3 Tbsps of pecans (or walnuts); chopped
Instructions:
Place eggs, milk, banana, butter, sugar, salt, bread flour, and yeast inside the (bread) pan. Set it for (white) bread (dough) stage and press the “Start” button.
Once ready, roll dough above a slightly floured surface then punch dough; allow to rest. Roll dough to a 9-inch wide rectangle. Brush the butter above the rolled dough.
Combine nuts, sugar, and cinnamon; sprinkle above dough and roll jelly roll fashion beginning with short side. Form it to loaf and seal by pinching its edge.
Grease a 9-1/2 inch (loaf) pan by spraying a nonstick spray then place dough inside pan with its seam facing down then cover. Allow to rise till it doubled its size, at about an hour. Heat oven at (350 degrees F).
Bake loaf for 30-45 mins till it becomes slightly brown. Let pan cool.
