Beaten Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c of water (iced)
1/4 c of milk
4 Tbsps of butter (chilled)
4 Tbsps of shortening (chilled)
1 tsp of salt
2 c of flour (unbleached)
Instructions:
Combine flour and salt then cut in your shortening into the flour mix. Using a separate bowl, mix together the iced water and milk.
Pour the milk mixture to your flour mix then continue mixing until everything is incorporated into a dough or ball. Roll the ball out into an inch and a half then cut into little cookies or biscuits.
Bake in the oven for twenty minutes (350 degrees F) until biscuits are set.
