Buttered Popcorn Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pkg of yeast
1-1/2 c of water (warm)
1/4 tsp of sugar (granulated)
1/4 tsp of ginger
1 Tbsp of butter flavoring
2-1/2 c of flour; sifted
2 tsps of wheat germ
1 Tbsp of oil
1-1/4 tsps of salt
5 c of crushed popcorn
Instructions:
Stir yeast with (warm) water till dissolved and set on the side. Combine sugar, ginger, flour, flavoring, wheat germ, oil, and salt inside a mixing bowl. Add in the dissolved yeast; knead till satiny and smooth, at about ten mins.
Add popcorn then knead. Let it rise for two hours, covered. Punch dough down and place on a buttered (loaf) pan; let it rise till volume has doubled, at about an hour. Place inside the oven and bake for 20-30 mins at (350 degrees F) till golden-brown.
