Cake Mix Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
3 pkgs of yeast (active dry)
2-1/2 c of water (warm)
14-1/2 oz of white cake mix
4-1/2 c of flour (all purpose)
1/2 c of softened butter
1/2 c of sugar (brown)
2 tsps of cinnamon (ground)
1/4 c of melted butter
1/3 c of sugar (granulated)
Instructions:
Stir yeast with (warm) water inside large mixing bowl till dissolved. Let it stand for ten mins till creamy. Add (3 cups) flour and cake mix; stir thoroughly. Gradually add more flour while stirring thoroughly till dough is formed.
Turn dough out on a slightly floured board then knead till elastic and smooth, at about eight mins.
Place dough on a greased bowl; turn once and cover it with moist cloth. Allow to rise till the volume has doubled, at about half an hour. Punch it down then turn on a slightly floured board.
Roll to a 10×16 inch rectangle then spread butter on it; sprinkle cinnamon and (brown) sugar. Roll it up jellyroll fashion beginning from longer side; cut to rolls, (1 inch wide).
Preheat the oven at (375 degrees F). Butter a 9×13 inch pan. Combine pecans, and (white) sugar inside a bowl. Brush butter on each top surface of roll and dip in sugar-pecan mixture.
Arrange them on the pan and cover it with moist cloth. Allow to rise till the volume has doubled at about half an hour.
Bake for twenty mins till golden.
