Carrot Cream Dream Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of par-cooked carrots; shredded
2 Tbsps of milk
3/4 tsp of salt
2 c of flour (bread)
1/2 c of coconut; flaked
1/2 c of walnuts; chopped
1 Tbsp of sugar (granulated)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of nutmeg
1-1/2 tsps of yeast (Fleischmann’s, bread machine)
For the Filling:
8 oz of cream cheese
1 tsp of juice (lemon)
1 c of powdered sugar
Instructions:
Place carrots, milk, salt, flour, coconut, walnuts, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and yeast inside (bread) machine. Select “white bread” cycle and “medium” color. Once done, take it out then let it cool. Slice the whole loaf to half-inched slices.
Make the filling, mix cheese (cream), juice, and sugar till creamy then spread the filling on each of the slices. Restack (the loaf) and slice lengthwise an inch thick. Spread the filling on each of the slices. Restack again.
Serve by slicing the whole loaf, an inch thick lengthwise.
