Sweet Lelani Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of pineapple (canned, chunks); cut up and drained with juice reserved
1/4 c of buttermilk (add 2 Tbsps more of buttermilk)
1/4 c of pineapple juice (reserved)
1/2 c of banana; sliced (very ripe)
1 pc of egg
3 c of flour (for bread)
1/4 c of flour (whole wheat)
1 tsp of salt
1.5 tsp of sugar
3 tsp of margarine or butter
1/2 c of coconut; shredded
1/3 c of nuts (Macadamia); chopped
2 tsp of yeast (active & dry)
Instructions:
Place all ingredients, except nuts (Macadamia), in bread pan. Select light crust or sweet bread or
raisin/nut cycle. Press start. Add nuts when raisin/nut signal beeps. Remove bread from pan when done; cool on cake rack for 1 hour before slicing.
