Casserole Rye Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of milk
3 Tbsps of sugar (granulated)
1 Tbsp of salt
1-1/2 Tbsps of butter
1 c of water (warm)
2 pkgs of yeast (dry)
3 c of flour (white)
1-1/2 c of flour (rye)
Instructions:
Heat the milk, salt, butter and sugar then cool. Dissolve the yeast with (warm) water inside a mixing bowl. Add mixture of milk along with the flours then beat thoroughly till blended well. Cover then allow to rise for fifty mins or till volume has doubled.
Stir the batter then beat thoroughly for half a minute. Transfer onto a greased casserole. Gently brush with the milk. Bake for an hour, uncovered, at (375 degrees F). When done, butter the top.
