Cheddar Cheese Scones Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of all purpose flour
4 Tbsps of butter
1/2 tsp of salt
2/3 c of milk
2.5 tsps of baking powder
1 c of cheese (Cheddar); grated
Instructions:
Sift salt, baking powder and flour together. Add butter to the sifted ingredients ’til crumbly. Add in cheese and slowly transfer dough. Add in milk using a round-blade knife in mixing ’til batter is manageable and soft.
Lightly flour work table and transfer batter. Divide dough equally into halves and form every portion to 3/4 inch thick rounds. Cut every round to 6 portions in a triangular shape. Set rounds on baking sheet, well greased.
Score top lightly using fork. In a heated oven, bake to 425 degrees F for 12-15 minutes. Slightly cool before you serve scones
