Cheesy Cornmeal and Herb Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/3 c of buttermilk
1 Tbsp of parsely; dried
4 ozs of cheese (Cheddar); shredded
1/2 c of butter (cold); cut into squares
1 c of cornmeal (self-rising)
2 c of flour (self-rising)
Instructions:
Preset oven (450 degrees F). Spray grease your baking tray. Set it aside.
Using a bowl, mix together cornmeal and flour. Cut butter in and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in the milk, cheese and parsely.
Drop heaping tablespoons on the greased baking tray. Pop in the oven and bake them for ten minutes or ’till nicely browned. Makes one dozen.
