Cheesy Potato Casserole Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 packet of yeast (active dry)
1 c of milk (warm)
1/3 c of vegetable shortening; softened
1 pc of egg (large)
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper (black)
3 c of flour (all purpose)
1 c of mashed potatoes, (at room temperature)
1/2 c of extra-sharp cheese (Cheddar); shredded
1/2 c of cheese (Parmesan); grated freshly
Instructions:
Butter a (deep round) casserole; set on the side.
Dissolve yeast with milk inside large bowl. Add egg, shortening, (1 cup) flour, salt, and pepper; beat thoroughly till smooth, at about two mins. Add in the rest of flour, Cheddar and potatoes; beat thoroughly till blended well.
Transfer dough on the casserole then cover it with a plastic wrapper. Allow to rise till volume has doubled, at about forty mins. Preheat oven (375 degrees F).
Sprinkle over Parmesan cheese evenly and place inside oven. Bake till golden-brown, at about forty-five mins. Let it cool before slicing.
