Cinnamon Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of flour (all-purpose)
1 c of sugar (white)
1/2 tsp of baking soda
2 tsps of baking powder
1.5 tsps of cinnamon (ground)
1 c of buttermilk
1 tsp of salt
1/4 c of oil (vegetable)
2 pcs of eggs
1 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
2 tsps of vanilla extract
2 Tbsps of sugar (white)
2 tsps of margarine
Instructions:
Preheat the oven, 350 deg Fahrenheit. Grease a 9″ x 5″ bread pan. Beat thrice a combination of vanilla, eggs, oil, buttermilk, salt, 1.5 tsps of cinnamon, soda, baking powder, 1 c of sugar and flour. Pour mixture into bread pan and level the top. Mix ’til crumbly together butter, 1 tsp of cinnamon as well as 2 Tbsps of sugar (brown) then sprinkle them on batter.
Create marble effect on batter by swirling mixture with knife. Bake 50 mins. Bread is done when wooden stick inserted into middle of bread comes out without sticky crumbs. Lift bread off the pan and allow to be cooled on wire rack.
