Cinnamon Walnut Scones Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c of walnuts; chopped
2 & 1/4 tsps of baking powder
4.5 tsps of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
2 pcs of eggs
1/2 tsp of cinnamon; ground
1/4 c of maragrine or butter (cold)
1/4 c of buttermilk
1/3 c of whipping cream
Instructions:
Combine flour, walnuts, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon inside a mixing bowl. Add in diced butter ’til mixture is crumbly like bread crumbs. Add in the cream and eggs. Blend into the flour mixture just ’til dampened.
Transfer dough over floured work table. Roll gently into 7 inch, 3/4-inch thick. Slice to 8 triangular shapes. Transfer to a cookie sheet; well greased. Coat dough with the buttermilk and set aside for 15-20 minutes.
Inside a 450 degree-F oven, bake for 14-16 minutes ’til golden-brown.
