Coconut Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/4 c of coconut milk (fresh)
1/2 c of sugar (brown)
2 tsps of sea salt
1 tsp of vanilla
1/4 c of buttermilk (or instant nonfat milk powder)
3-2/3 c of unbleached flour (white bread)
2 tsps of yeast (bread machine)
1/2 c of shredded coconut (unsweetened); toasted
Instructions:
Place coconut milk, brown sugar, sea salt, vanilla, buttermilk, flour, and yeast inside the bread machine.Select “sweet bread” or “raisin bread” cycle and add shredded coconut on the beep or five mins before first cycle for kneading ends.
