Cottage Cheese Dinner Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pkgs of yeast (dry)
1/2 c of water (lukewarm)
2 c of Cottage Cheese (small curd)
1/4 c of sugar (granulated)
2 pcs of eggs; beaten slightly
1/2 tsp of baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
2 tsps of salt
4 c of flour (all purpose, or more)
Instructions:
Dissolve the yeast with water. Place cheese in a saucepan and heat it.
Combine dissolved yeast, heated cheese, eggs, sugar, salt, and soda inside a bowl. Add enough amount of flour when needed to make the dough soft.
Place dough on a buttered bowl; turn once then cover. Allow to rise till the volume has doubled, at about 1-1/2 hours. Punch down the dough and divide it to half. Make twelve rolls from each part.
Roll onto flour and arrange on 2 buttered 8 inch square pan. Allow to rise till volume has doubled and bake for twenty mins (350 degrees F).
