Cranberry Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of flour; sifted
2 c of sugar (granulated)
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
1 1/2 tsps of baking powder (Calumet)
2 Tbsps of concentrated juice (orange, frozen)
3 Tbsps of shortening
9 Tbsps of water (boiling)
1 pc of egg
1 c of nuts
1 c of cranberries; halved
Instructions:
Dissolve the shortening with boiling water inside a mixing bowl. Add flour, sugar, salt, soda, baking powder, concentrated juice, shortening, and egg. Incorporate well and fold in nuts and cranberries.
Pour onto a greased and floured two small (loaf) pans. Place inside oven and bake for forty-five mins, 350 deg Fahrenheit.
