Eggnog Cherry Nut Loaf Recipe
Ingredients:
2-1/2 c of flour (all purpose)
3/4 c of sugar (granulated)
1 Tbsp of baking powder (Calumet)
1 pc of egg; beaten
1 tsp of salt
1-1/4 c of eggnog (homemade or dairy)
1/2 c of nuts (walnuts or pecans); chopped
1/3 c of vegetable oil (or canola oil)
1/2 c of cherries (Maraschino); chopped
Instructions:
Combine sugar, Calumet, salt, and flour inside a bowl. Combine egg, oil, and eggnog; mix them well then add onto the dry mixture. Incorporate well and fold cherries and nuts into the batter.
Transfer batter onto 2 buttered 8×4x2 inch (loaf) pans and bake, 50 degrees Fahrenheit for 45-50 mins.
