Flower Pot Walnut Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
2 oz of yeast (fresh)
1 Tbsp of sugar (granulated)
3 Tbsps of softened butter
1 pc egg
3 c of water (lukewarm)
1 Tbsp of salt
1/2 c walnuts; chopped
6-7 c of flour (all-purpose)
4 clay flower pots (5 to 6-inch in diameter)
Instructions:
Those clay flower pots which are manufactured by US are the best ones to use.
Pour lukewarm water in bowl then add fresh yeast & pinch sugar. Allow to stand. Add in remaining granulated sugar, flour, butter & salt. Knead very well.
Place in greased bowl then cover. Let it rise for two hours.
Once done, knead your dough then add in walnuts. Oil the pots. Have dough divided to four parts of equal sizes. Roll into balls and arrange them on pots. For another 30 mins, allow dough to rise.
Prepare your oven and heat to four hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit.
Create a small slice across dough’s surface. Whish you egg very lightly then brush to dough evenly. Bake it for 40 mins.
