Hamburger Buns Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of milk
3 Tbsps of vegetable oil (or canola oil)
1 tsp of sea salt
2 Tbsps of sugar (granulated)
1 pkg of yeast (dry)
1-1/3 c of flour (unbleached white)
2/3 c of flour (whole wheat)
2 Tbsps of wheat germ
Butter (melted)
Instructions:
Scald the milk then add oil, sugar, and salt. Let it cool (to lukewarm); pour onto the yeast and add wheat germ then the flours. Turn dough on a floured surface then knead. Gradually add enough amount of flour till dough has formed.
Roll into half-inch thick then cut to buns (approximately half of the preferred size). Arrange on buttered baking sheet and brush the top with (melted) butter. Allow to rise for an hour or more.
Bake at (350 degrees F) for ten mins.
