Hazelnut Butter Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of whole toasted hazelnuts (9 oz)
1/2 tsp of salt
3/4 tsp of Confectioner’s sugar
1-2 Tbsps of vegetable oil
Instructions:
To have hazelnuts toasted: Put shelled nut pieces in shallow cooking pan. Roast for 20-3o mins at two hundred seventy five degrees Fahrenheit (or ’til skin cracks). To peel off skin, rub the nuts w/ rough piece of cloth while still warm.
Processor mixing method: Put toasted nuts in container of processor. Process in order to produce coarse-looking texture (about three minutes). Add in sugar & salt gradually. Continue processing for 4-7 mins more or ’til texture’s achieved.
Blender mixing method: Grind in low blender speed your toasted nuts w/ 1 Tbsp of veggie oil. When mixture start to soften, blend it on high-speed for 2-3 mins. Add in salt and sugar gradually. Continue blending on low-speed ’til mixed thoroughly.
