Heart-Shaped Cheese Scones Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps of sugar (granulated)
1 Tbsp of baking powder
1/4 c of vegetable oil
1 tsp of salt
1/2 c of sour cream
3 Tbsps of milk
1/4 tsp of baking soda
2 c of all purpose flour
1.5 c of cheese (Cheddar, 6 ozs); shredded
1 pc of egg
Instructions:
Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add in the cheese.
Combine cream, egg, milk and oil inside another mixing bowl. Blend this to the flour mixture ’til damp enough.
Transfer to a lightly-floured work table and gently knead for 10-12 times.
Roll out into 1/3 inch thick. Using a heart shaped cutter, 3 inches in diameter, cut the dough. Transfer to a cookie sheet, well greased and bake for 15-20 minutes at a 425 degree-F oven or ’til golden-brown. Yields 12 pieces.
