Jalapeno Cornbread Recipe
Ingredients:
3 c of cornbread (mix)
3.5 c of milk
1 tsp of salt
3 pcs of eggs, whisked
1 c of corn (whole kernel)
1 small can of jalapeno (4 ozs); chopped
Peppers (to taste); strained
2.5 c of cheese (Cheddar); shredded
1 pc of onion (large); minced finely
1/2 c of salad oil
Instructions:
Heat large-sized frying pan or 9×13 inch loaf pan inside oven. Combine milk, eggs and cornbread into a large-sized bowl. Blend in corn, onion, jalapenos and cheese. Heat salad oil. Mix in to the cornbread mixture.
Add salt and stir thoroughly. Transfer to the heated loaf pan. Let it bake for 45 mins into a preheated oven with a temperature of 375 degrees F.
