Maple Corn Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 & 1/3 c of all purpose flour
1/2 tsp of salt
2/3 c of cornmeal
1/3 c of maple syrup
3 tsps of baking powder
1/2 c of shortening; melted
2 pcs of eggs; beaten slightly
1/2 c of milk
Instructions:
Sift flour, salt, baking powder and flour together. Mix in cornmeal, syrup, shortening, eggs and milk. Blend well w/o beating. Pour over greased 8 inch square-pan. Bake batter for 15-20 minutes in an oven with a temperature of four hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
