Onion Hamburger Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of onion (medium-sized); minced
1/4 c of sweet butter
2 pcs of eggs
3/4 c of lukewarm water (105-115 degrees-F)
1 Tbsp of yeast (dry)
3 c of bread flour
1 Tbsp of sugar (granulated)
2 Tbsps of milk powder (instant, nonfat)
1 1/4 tsps of salt
Instructions:
Saute onions in butter over medium-heat ’til soft and not brown. Combine sugar and yeast into warm water. Allow to sit ’til foamy for about ten minutes. Combine salt, flour, powdered milk, egg and sauted onion asving one-fourths cup.
Pour the yeast into food blender ’til dough is moist evenly and and does not stick to the bowl. Add a teaspoon flour if the dough is still sticky. On a bowl that has been greased, transfer the dough and provide cover for it to rise.
Press doen the dough and transfer onto a lightly-floured work table. Divide to ten pieces and form every piece to rounds. Press rounds to circles about three-fourths thick.
Set 1.5 -2 inches from every piece on prepeared cookie. mix half teaspoon of salt with an egg. Coat dough with this mixture. Press gently every piece and fill each with a teaspoon of saved onion.
Loosely cover dough with wrap that has been covered. Allow to sit for it to rise about 45-50 minutes. Let it bake in preheated oven with a temperature of 375 degrees-F for about twenty minutes. Transfer over to cooling racks.
