Orange Cream Cheese Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
3 c of Buttermilk biscuit bake mix
3/4 c of juice (orange)
2 Tbsps of marmalade (orange)
2 tsps of orange rind; grated
3 oz of softened creamcheese
Sugar (granulated)
Instructions:
Prepare oven. Heat it to four hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine biscuit mix, juice and rind ’til it forms to a softened dough. Beat it vigorously for thirty seconds.
In a floured working surface, combine and then roll the dough. Knead well for ten times. Form into half-inch thick rolls. Using a 2-inch biscuit cutter cut biscuits and arrange on an ungreased bake sheet.
Combine marmalade and cream cheese separately. Scoop a teaspoon of this mixture into the center part of every biscuit, dust w/ sugar. Once completed, bake for 8-10 mins or ’til golden-browned.
