Orange Raisin Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tsp of sugar
A cup of buttermilk
1 large egg
4 c of flour (all-purpose)
1 Tbsp of orange peel; grated
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 c of orange-flavored juice
A cup of raisins
Instructions:
Sift salt ,baking soda, flour and sugar together in bowl. Create a small well in middle-part, then pour juice and buttermilk in, mixing well. Combine raisins, orange peel and eggs, beating well ’til smooth. Quickly knead the dough into a heavily floured working board. Form into a loaf then slice one “X” mark across the top.
Transfer in greased nine-inch rounder layer cake-pan. Bake it at three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit for 45-55 mins or ’til cake test is completed. You may have it drizzled w/ your choice of glaze once done.
