Parmesan Herb Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of flour (all-purpose)
3 Tbsps of Parmesan cheese; grated
3 tsps of baking powder
1 Tbsp of melted margarine or butter
1/2 tsp of dry sage leaves
1/4 c of parsley; chopped
1 Tbsp of sugar (granulated)
1/2 tsp of salt
3/4 – 1 c half-and-half
Instructions:
Prepare oven. Heat it to four hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix together parsley, sugar, sage, salt, flour, 2 Tbsps of cheese and powder (baking).
Add in 3/4 c half-and-half, mix w/ fork ’til dry components moistens. Add in remaining half-and-half slowly if needed to create soft forming dough.
On a floured working surface, have dough kneaded gently, forming to a dough ball. Press dough lightly to half-inch thick dough square. With the use of a knife, create 12 small squares.
Arrange them on bake sheets (ungreased). Coat w/ melted butter or margarine. Top off w/ one tablespoonful cheese.
Place in oven and bake ’til golden-browned (8-14 mins).
