Peach Nutmeg Scones Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c of sugar (granulated)
1 tsp of nutmeg
2 pcs of eggs; whisked
1 Tbsp of baking powder
1/3 c of yogurt (vanilla)
6 Tbsps of butter (cold); diced
1/2 tsp of almond (extract)
1 c of peaches; diced
2 Tbsps of butter; melted
2 Tbsps of sugar (granulated)
Instructions:
Combine extract, eggs and yogurt. Blend to flour mixture and add peahces. Mix well.
Flour hands and work table generously. Transfer dough and roll out to a rectangular shape 1 inch thick. Cut dough to 10 wedges.
Turn wedges over a greased baking sheet. Using butter, brush tops of wedges. Sprinkle some sugar and bake ’til browned nicely about twenty minutes. This makes 10 pieces.
