Peanut Butter Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
2 & 1/2 c of flour (all-purpose)
1/2 c of brown sugar; packed
3/4 tsp of salt
2 pcs large bananas (ripe); mashed
3/4 c of peanut butter (chunky style) plus 3 Tbsps
3 tsps of vanilla
1 c of milk plus 1 Tbsp
1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
1 Tbsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp of powdered cinnamon
3 Tbsps of oil (vegetable)
1 lightly beaten egg
Pieces of chocolate
2 Tbsps of butter
1 c of sifted icing sugar
Instructions:
Prepare oven. Heat it to three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit. Flour and grease 2 (8×4 inch) loaf-shaped pans. Combine flour, (baking) powder, sugar, cinnamon and salt in large bowl. Separately mix bananas, peanut butter, milk, vanilla, egg and oil. Blend into dry mixture, stir well to combine, fold in pieces of chocolate.
Pour the batter onto grease pans and bake it for 50-55 mins or ’til bread test is completed. Cool for ten minutes in pan then turn into racks to completely cool. For frosting: Melt butter, and peanut butter in saucepan. Remove saucepan from fire and stir icing sugar & vanilla in. Stir into the mixture enough milk to achieve desired texture.
