Peanut Butter ‘n’ Jelly Streusel Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of milk
1 pc of egg
1/2 c of peanut butter (creamy)
3 c of flour (for bread)
1 tsp of sugar (granulated)
2.5 tsp of yeast (for bread-making machine)
For the Streusel Mix:
1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
2 Tbsps of butter
1/4 c of flour
1/2 c of peanuts; chopped finely
Instructions:
Put egg, milk and peanut butter in pan for bread-making machine. Mix them well and add the flour (for bread), salt, and sugar. Fill indention in middle of mixture with yeast then proceed cycle (Dough). After completing cycle, take off dough then form into 15″ x 10″ rectangle with the use of rolling baking pin.
Create Streusel Mix by mixing 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 2 tablespoons butter and 1/2 cup peanuts, finely chopped.
Brush butter (melted) on dough then sprinkle streusel mix to surface. Tightly roll mixture from its longer side and seat the edges, creating long elongated roll. Slice it to 1.5″ pieces. Let pieces rise to twice their sizes and bake 25-30 minutes (350 degrees F) ’til gold-brown in color.
Serve them warm alongside frosting (peanut butter) as well as jelly.
