Persimmon Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tsp of nutmeg (ground)
1 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
2 c of sugar (refined)
1 c of vegetable oil (or canola oil)
4 pcs of eggs (large)
1 tsp of salt
2/3 c of water
1 c of persimmon pulp
2 tsps of soda
3 c of flour; sifted
1 c of walnuts; chopped
Instructions:
Mix the sugar and spices together then add eggs, salt, and oil. Alternately add water and persimmon with flour and soda. Fold the walnuts into the mixture.
Butter two 9×5 inch (loaf) pans. Transfer the mixture onto the pans and bake at 350 degrees F for an hour.
