Poppy Seed Tea Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
3 c of flour (all purpose)
2-1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
1-1/2 tsps of baking powder (Calumet)
1-1/2 tsps of salt
3 pcs of eggs; beaten slightly
1 c of oil
1-1/2 c of milk
1-1/2 tsps of vanilla extract
1-1/2 tsps of almond extract
1-1/2 tsps of butter flavoring
2 Tbsps of poppy seeds
Instructions:
Grease 2 8×4 inch (loaf) pans then set on the side. Combine flour, salt, Calumet, and sugar inside a large bowl; mix them well. Combine milk, eggs, oil, seeds, flavoring, and extracts; add onto the mixture of flour. Gently stir till the mixture becomes moist.
Pour onto the pans and place inside preheated oven. Bake 60-70 min. Allow to cool for ten mins before removing the bread from the pans. Allow to be completely cooled then wrap before storing for over a night.
