Pretzel Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pack of yeast (dry)
1.5 c of water (warm)
1 Tbsp of sugar (granulated)
4 c (or more) of flour
1 pcs of egg; beaten
Coarse salt (not necessary)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (425 degrees F). Using huge bowl, allow the yeast to be dissolved in warm water. Pour the flour with sugar then mix. Your dough will now be a soft yet not a bit sticky. Increase amount of flour used if dough is very sticky then let it rise thirty minutes.
Divide the dough to 12 rolls of 16″ long. To create pretzels, create circles by curving edges of a rope, crossing the ends on top. Then twist the ends of rope once then lay over the circle’ bottom. Arrange the pretzels above baking sheet that has been sprayed on with oil.
Brush pretzels with beaten egg then drizzle optional salt on them. Bake 12-15 minutes ’til gold in color.
