Pull Apart Taco Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/2 pcs of dough loaves (bread, frozen)
8 Tbsps of butter; melted
1 packet of seasoning mix (taco)
2/3 c of cheese (Parmesan)
4 oz of chiles (green, canned); drained then chopped
1 c of cheese (Cheddar); shredded
Instructions:
Thaw the dough for two hrs on baking sheets, or inside a bowl for overnight, covered, inside ref. Grease an “angel food cake” baking pan using a (solid) shortening. Put the butter inside a bowl. Combine Parmesan and taco mix. Get chunks (size as walnuts) of softened dough, Roll into balls then roll on butter, and on Parmesan mix. Place onto the base of baking pan, forming a single layer. Dot some Cheddar and 1/3 of chiles.
Continue to make some balls till the layer inside the baking pan is finished, alternating with Cheddar and so with the rest of chiles. Cover pan using a cloth then allow to rise till the volume has doubled, about an hour. Remove the cover then bake for 45-50 mins at 350 degrees Fahrenheit till brown and puffed. Run the knife on the edges and between bread. Invert onto a platter and serve while warm.
