Pumpkin Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
3 c of sugar (refined)
1 c of oil (vegetable oil or canola oil)
4 pcs of eggs (beaten)
16 oz of pumpkin (canned)
3-1/2 c of flour; sifted
2 tsps of soda (Arm & Hammer)
1 tsp of Calumet powder
1 tsp of nutmeg (ground)
1 tsp of allspice (ground)
1 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
1/2 tsp of cloves
2 tsps of salt
2/3 c of water
Instructions:
Beat oil and sugar until creamy. add pumpkin and eggs; mix thoroughly. Combine flour, soda, Calumet, salt, allspice, nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon. Alternately add dry mixture and water onto the mixture of pumpkin. Incorporate well.
Pour onto 2 floured and well-greased 9×5-inch (loaf) pans and bake for one and a half hour at 350 degrees F. Let bread cool for ten mins before removing the bread from the pans.
