Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
3-1/2 c of flour; sifted
2 Tbsps of baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
1-1/2 tsps of salt
2 tsps of cinnamon (ground)
1 tsp of nutmeg (ground)
3 c of sugar (granulated)
1 c of vegetable oil (or canola oil)
4 pcs of eggs (large)
2/3 c of water
2 c of pumpkin
For the Filling:
8 oz of softened cream cheese
1 pc of egg (large)
1/2 c sugar (granulated)
1/2 c of pecans; chopped
Instructions:
Mix cream cheese, egg, sugar and pecans (in that order) then set on the side. Combine flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar inside a bowl. Combine water, pumpkin, eggs, and oil; pour onto the flour mixture then mix them well.
Transfer half of the batter onto two greased 9×5-inch pans. Pour the filling onto each of pan and pour the rest of the batter on top of each. Bake for one hr and fifteen mins, 350 deg Fahrenheit. Let the bread cool for ten mins before taking them out from the pans.
