Refrigerator Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of boiling water
1 Tbsp of salt
1/2 c & 1 tsp of sugar (granulated)
2 pkg of yeast
1/4 c of shortening
8 c of flour; sifted & divided
2 pcs of eggs; whisked
4 c of flour
Instructions:
Mix water, sugar, shortening and salt. Set aside to cool ’til warm.
Dissolve the yeast into warm water and add a teaspoon of sugar. Mix half of the flour and blend well. Blend in the remainder of the flour. Stir thoroughly after every cup.
Blend well to produce a soft dough. Lightly knead lightly and transfer into a greased large-sized bowl. Put grease over surface of bowl and place inside refrigerator with cover ’til ready.
Remove from refrigerator. Form dough a shape of choice. Allow to rise inside warm room ’til bulked up. For 20-25 mins, bake at 425 degrees-F.
