“Rolling in Dough” Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
3 c of flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp of baking soda
1/4 c of margarine or butter
3 c of cheese (Cheddar, 12 oz); shredded
1 & 1/2 Tbsps of baking powder
2 peppers (Jalape); diced and seeded
1 tsp of salt
1 carton of sourcream (16 oz)
Instructions:
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl. Blend butter in ’til mixture becomes crumbly. Mix in cheese, peppers and sourcream ’til dry components moisten.
Turn out dough into a slightly floured working surface, then knead dough 3-4 times.
Pat and roll creating half-inch thick dough. Cut using a four-inch rounded cutter. Arrange on slightly greased bake sheet. Oven for fifteen minutes at four hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit.
