Slow-Rise Yeast Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of lukewarm water (90-100 degrees-F)
2 pkgs of yeast
1 pc of egg
6.5-7 c of bread flour
1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
2 tsps of salt
1/4 c of shortening
Instructions:
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Combine 3.5 cups of flour, salt with sugar. Add it into the yeast mixture. Beat using a food blender. Mix in shortening with egg. Blend in the remainder of flour gradually. knead the dough for five minutes.
Transfer to greased bowl. Place in refrigerator with moist cloth. Divide the dough to 4 portions the next 3-4 days later.
Shape small-sized balls. Place three in every muffin tin. Coat large ball with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Form logs half inch diameter, 8-inch long. Loop logs and form knots.
Roll a quarter of the dough to a round and coat with butter and Cut wedges. Roll out to moon shapes.
Set aside to bulk in warm room for 1-2 hours. Oil the baking sheets and let it bake at a 400 degree-F oven for 12-15 minutes.
