Sugar Lump Cinnamon Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of milk
1 tsp of salt
1/2 c of margarine or butter
2 packs of yeast
1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
1/3 c of water (warm)
1 Tbsp of vanilla extract
5.5 – 6 c of flour (all-purpose)
1 pc of egg
For the Filling:
50 cubes of sugar
1/4 c of margarine or butter; softened
1 Tbsp of cinnamon
Instructions:
Heat into scalding a mixture of butter with milk, then add salt as well as sugar. Allow the mixture to be cooled until lukewarm. Pour vanilla to mixture. In a separate bowl, allow the yeast to soften in a 1/3 c of water (warm), then add this into milk.
Slowly pour flour as required and knead the dough ’til smooth on a bread board that has been floured. Allow the dough to double its size. Beat down the dough before dividing it into half and rolling each into 12″ x 15″ rectangular pan.
To create the filling, combine cubes of sugar, butter as well as cinnamon then use 1/2 of the mixture on per rectangular pan. Spread as equally as probable. Seal edges by rolling dough up then pinching.
Put on loaf pans that have been greased and allow to rise double its size for 30-35 minutes. Put into oven and bake 30-40 minutes (375 degrees F).
