Sweet Cherry Pecan Scones Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of Biscuit mix (dry)
2 Tbsps of sugar (granulated)
1/4 c of pecans; chopped
1/2 c of milk
1 pc of egg; beaten slightly
1 c of dark cherries (frozen, sweet, whole)
For the Glaze:
Sugar
1 pc of egg
1 Tbsp of water
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (400 degrees F). Line large cooking sheet with waxed paper or grease it. Set on the side.
Combine Biscuit mix, pecans, and sugar inside large bowl and stir. Add egg, cherries, and milk. Gently stir using a clean fork; knead till dough starts forming to ball then cherries have softened and have spread evenly.
Scoop 1/4-cup of dough; place onto the sheet. Using your palm, flatten gently on each dough. Beat water and egg then brush mixture over dough; sprinkle sugar on top.
Bake for 12-15 mins or till slightly golden. Allow to cool before serving.
