Tomato-Basil Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
2 & 1/4 tsps of yeast (dry)
3 c of flour (bread)
3 Tbsps of bran (wheat)
1/3 c of grain (quinoa)
3 Tbsps of milk (powder, non-fat dry)
1 Tbsp of basil; dried
1/3 c of tomatoes (sun-dried); sliced into half
1 & 1/4 c of water
1 tsp of salt
Instructions:
Soak sun-dried tomatoes in water (boiling) for ten minutes and place in a strainer then let stand (room temperature) until cooled. Using scissors, cut tomatoes to pieces (1/4″).
Put the yeast, flour, bran, grain, milk, basil, tomatoes, salt and water in baking pan, based on machine’s manual then choose cycle (basic bread) or based on manufacturer’s direction.
