Walnut Scones Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of flour (all purpose)
1/4 c of sugar (granulated)
2 tsps baking powder (Calumet)
1/4 tsp of baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
1/3 c of butter (unsalted)
3/4 c of buttermilk
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 c of chopped walnuts
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (375 degrees F). Grease the baking sheets.
Combine sugar, flour, Calumet, soda, and salt; mix them well. Add butter and cut, using a fork, till it seems like (coarse) crumbs then add walnuts and buttermilk. Stir till the moistened.
Scoop teaspoonfuls of dough and arrange on the sheets, 2-inches apart. Bake till slightly golden-brown for 9-12 mins. Once done, remove the cookies from the sheets and serve while warm.
